At CBDSM, we perform the basic and applied scientific research that will increase healthy behavior and improve health care decision making. We see this as the final step in translating medical advances into health care practice. CBDSM researchers have been pursuing groundbreaking investigations on such topics as doctor-patient communication, psychological adaptation to disability, health care rationing, social cognition, decision aids to communicate risk, informed consent, and many more.
In this section of our website you can find scholarly publications by our investigators, information about our research groups, and press reports about CBDSM research.
