Soumya Rangarajan, MPP

Soumya Rangarajan joined CBDSM in August 2008 and works with faculty member Reshma Jagsi on projects related to the allocation of medical technology, availability of funding for biomedical research, decision-making of breast cancer patients, and barriers facing women and minorities in academic medicine. Soumya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science (with high honors) and general biology from the University of Michigan and a Master in Public Policy degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She is a political junkie and technophile, and would one day like to work on health and technology policy issues in the U.S. government. She loves traveling (while exploring indigenous vegetarian cuisine) and discovering independent music.
